JOHN WEEKS is an award winning guitarist and lives in Colorado.  His musical experience started in Europe in the early 70’s. He was living in Paris in the early 90’s when he decided to abandon outside distractions and concentrate on music.  In the mid 90’s his band, TNK (Frederic Dubois on drums, Gilles Verasano on bass) averaged over 200 dates per year and was a constant presence in the Paris music scene.  

Upon his return to the United States in the early 2000's he developed a passion for all things Americana music - country, roots blues, etc. So, in 2013 he founded the John Weeks Band, which has become a fixture on the Colorado music scene and plays a huge variety of music.

Drawing from a diverse background in country, rock, and blues, John brings seasoned musicianship, authentic stage presence, and a deep love of live performance to every show. 

For John it’s all about playing live and it’s all about energy.  “If you aren’t going to bring it, then stay home”. When he isn’t performing you can find him at one of the many jams in the Denver area.
